We left Agawam at 5 a.m. Even though the weather was horendous we still managed to make it to Washington DC in good time, about 6 hours. The rain held off for about 2 hours while we walked around DC checking out the major sites. When ...
Agawam, Massachusetts, United States tarynswrld... br>For those of you who do not know me, I am very fortunate to have travelled to many wonderful places in the world, and I look forward to revisiting some of those, and also discovering new places.
This trip will be the final leg of my Round-the-World trip which I started in Johannesburg in January. I had 20 segments on this ticket, and have 5 left to use (Boston to London is a separate ticket). This will also be my first visit to the Middle East.

... in the distance as we head to the left coast. Instead of 2 grueling Mass Pike hours of traffic, bland views, boring mid state landscape, and various radio stations of either static, country, rock, static, or rap - it will be a 6 hour flight across country and a half hour drive to visit Southwick again. Perhaps one can be persuaded to escape the trials of winter, and visit us in the temperate SD climate we will soon call home...
... moved by my experience but know that its time for me to hit the road, especially with all the changes that are happening... its hard to hold you chin up and besides that i crave more.
So before i begin my new journey in Hartford, taking a detour to Brazil. I leave tomorrow in the early early am and have so many loose ends... have to be done by 5pm cause i got a hot date!!! =) going with a small back pack... beach hopping.
... quite a feat!
After lunch a group of us headed off to climb Cardigan Mountain. The crew of little kids played happily back at the house. It ended up being quite the muddy rock scramble. I didn't quite make it to the summit. When we hit the clouds and a fairly solid sheet of rock, I opted to sit and wait for their return. I thought it was a great idea until the last of our crew (Larry, Greg and Sarah S) passed me on their way to the ...
After lunch in New Haven, we're off to visit the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. Unfortunately, we got there at 4:00pm just as they were about to close. I just got some souvenirs and we had some ice cream before leaving for Chiqui's house in CT. Chiqui cooked the Alaskan King Crab legs for dinner, maybe the best crab I've ever tasted!
We spent the majority of the morning packing up and getting ready to head home. It was a beautiful, sunny day and Sami was looking forward to towing the camper without the rain! Jeff and Tracy left earlier, so we headed out with Don, Steph & kids and Ron & kids. We stopped at the rest area on the way home and had some lunch. The automatic ...
Agawam, Massachusetts, United States dmassoudIt was very nice getting up and being able to shower in my own bathroom, thinking I had all the privacy in the world. However, that was not the case as my nephew Alex came charging into the camper to see if we were ready to head off to the park. Needless to say, my full moon is not one he will forget anytime soon! :-)

I've spent the last week or so packing and re-packing the camper trying to find just the right place for everything. I am sure after we use it a few times, I will be rearranging it again!
We left to meet Don & Steph at Exit 22 of the Thruway and will following them across the Mass Pike into Massachusetts and to our campground. The weather was rainy and ...
Well - been up to New York state to Albany, and a town called Greenville to the Hudson River Valley Art Centre to teach a workshop there- apart from no signal on cellphones, and difficult access to my own internet, it was a great location for painting, and I took the group outdoors each day on some great locations. The hospitality, food and fun were all in abundance and a really nice ...
