I do need to work with him a little on geography - he is not great at keeping track of where we're at. Perhaps I will use some of the longer, boring legs on the way home to work on it.As we continued on our walk, the high heat and humidity really started to affect the two of us. We stopped for ice cream by the lakefront, then headed back to where we started our walk around town. I called the hotel and asked for a ...

It was a gorgeous 3000' pass we went over. Lots of hiking trails along the way which I thought was odd for a state with the motto of "don't tread on me". Maybe I'm missing something. We spent the first part of today in North Conway, New Hampshire where our parents ...

The Great New Hampshire Blowout

... end the day on a high note. I remember interviewing at UVM for residency and again liked the school and program, but hated the weather. This time around, with Lake Champlain as the back drop, I enjoyed seeing the city in a new light with my family sharing the experience. On our drive to the hotel we decided to stay another day. The great New Hampshire blowout turned into a great freak of luck. An unplanned extension of our stay in Vermont.
