After a leisurely breakfast with Linda it was once again back in the car to head South East to Scottsdale, Arizona.

Easy drive of around 5 and a half hours through the desert,

Arrived at Scottsdale at around 1630 hours and we are staying with our friend Sandy Neilson who lives in this fantastic resort style apartment complex. Fantastic to see her again!

Very hot here - around 110 degrees but a dry heat!

Our reservation was for 5 which was good because after that it started to become very busy. Our chef was very friendly and entertaining. And of course the food was superb... I had filet mingon and shrimp plus of course sushi :) A perfect dinner plus it was great to meet FB friends Terri and Debbie in person.

It dawned a sunny if cool day today. It is so nice to see the sun. Unfortunately both Mum and Richard had experienced stomach upsets from last night's dinner at the Tonto restaurant. Funnily enough the three of us had a delicious salmon and I was the only one who who did OK last night.

This morning while Gina had several conference calls and Rod went into ...
