... trip. It was a group of 6 guys breakdancing. Apparently they're called the Oakland Breakerz. Very entertaining, amusing and a little bit racial. Had dinner at The Franciscan Crab Restaurant. It was ok but Boudin Bistro was far nicer. Great views of Alcatraz from our window table. It's always funny when ...

... a well deserved sunbathe while waiting for the rest of the group under the trees. Moved on to a lovely picnic spot by a river for lunch accompanied by some C******nay (courtesy of Kirra) and a can of cider I pilfered from the bar the night before!! Followed by a paddle in the very cold river, so refreshing and so nice on my aching feet. Got dropped back to San Francisco and had to say bye to the group which was ...

... inhabitants to define normal in either conduct or appearance. SF has a greater density of crack-heads, drunks, junkies, jelly-brains, exhibitionists, odd-balls, dangerous loonies, nutters, out of control screamers and outright frightening geezers per square mile than anywhere else we have been. Mind you this is our first US city so watch this space. We had a beer with a group of South Africans who said that Soweto was much less scary than SF ...
