... had koolaid hidden somewhere. Had some well deserved fish & chips then headed over to the beach. From one angle it almost looks like home! ... very pretty! it has a harbour for boats and after a lunch ( supposed to be light......) we wander up and down the harbour front taking in the view and admiring the yachts. The drive back to hotel was interesting........Nancy the sat-nav had a row with Heather,so we followed a different route back, which meant that we came back the scenic route, but at times it was like being on a flume as you crest some of these hills and then plummet down the other side, thankfully, we only do 25mph ...

... Birthday dinner at Fog City Diner, a popular eatery that I never got a chance to enjoy when I came here with my daughter Jessie-Mae in 2006. The decor is roughly 1930s nostalgia, lots of stainless steel, checkered tile, and other classic diner biil-I-fare. The food is slightly more swanky, but I still went with the burger and fries. SF has free tours, museums and such - just need to look up dates & times & details.

This was called "Embarcadero Skyway Tour" because when the tour started, we never went back to ground floor level until it was over. Weaving through buildings and walkways and stairs and condo common areas all above ground level.
