... well...pretty much anytime we wanted to go sightseeing for more than an hour or two, we had to find and pay for dog boarding. The Hollywood PetSmart charges more than most other ones, naturally. As we were checking him in, a young woman strolled by in a pink shirt that just said "ME", with two white poodles in tow. Priceless.

... just off Hollywood Boulevard. The 'drive-in' (it's also a diner) has a totally 1950's theme, complete with a large juke box and mini juke boxes at all the booths.
