    ... above a massive lake. It is hard to describe but they do not look real. unfortunately the Government decided to shut down while we were there, so we had to skip yellowstone and glacier national park on our way out.

    We woke up this morning, threw back the curtains in our luxurious room (high and facing Elliott Bay) and there was our ship, the Regatta, docked right across the street. I could see people taking a last run around the exercise track before they disembarked. Hurray!

    ... a fish bar, and subsequently a chain of both fast food and upscale fish restaurants. The original is down on the piers, with all outdoor seating and you can feed the seagulls. The seagulls are very chubby looking, which is probably normal as all they eat are french fries and fried fish. We contributed to their well fed look, and have to say they are very good at catching french fries in mid air.
