... happy, colourful and well organised event we'd ever been to and we were all having a blast!

As we watched the last float pass and the roads started to re-open we decided to head towards the waterfront away from all the crowds that were heading down to the beach.

In the evening we drove to Yoho National Park and visited Takkakaw Falls, which is 344m high and the second highest waterfall in Canada. We also saw our first Grizzly Bear along the road. Unfortunately it was on the highway and you were not allowed to stop so we couldn’t get ...

... back down to the car. Had a bit of a break and then we got on the road to Golden. It didn't take long and the weather managed to hold off for us. Good timing today!! :) we drove straight to the pools and paid $2.50 each for a shower which was amazing after our big hike. We found a nice little park on the side of the River where we cooked an easy dinner and watched some skydivers do a few jumps. We stayed parked up here for the night across from the airport as it seemed nice and ...
