... up packing my backpack for one last time. Joey got off work early so he picked me up for lunch. In the afternoon, Emily and I went for a bikeride through Edmonton with her friend Liselotte. And all the calories we burned during this intense bike through the city were taken care of by Emily’s mom, Kathy, who invited us over for dinner. We got together with the grand parents a few times and mom and Dale were troopers, picking us up at 3:30 am for the airport.

We visited with as many friends as possible. We had dinner with our renters Linda and Dean and saw our neighbors Ross and Liz a ...

We rode the huge 2 hours to Edmonton, checked in to the Executive Royal Inn 1.6km from the Mall at 1230 then wandered down the road to the mall. We had intended getting a cab, but when we went to the two parked cabs in the rank, they both hopped in their cars and said they had a pick up and took off. Perplexed we walked to the mall.
