... went to bed around 10.00 which is 4:00 a.m. our time. Yikes!!! Day 3 - July 12, 2014 Pid and I woke up early - 5:45 a.m. which is 11:45 our time. My body just wouldn't sleep anymore. Pid and I watched the sunrise together. It was just spectacular. Now that I see the house in the morning I love it even more. It's just spectacular. Pure Hawaii!!! So here we are trying to figure out where we are going. We have both taken a leave of absence from work and thought that we could just fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico and work our way down the Caribbean. Well! I have to tell you; it is NOT as easy as that! ... quite funny. We could only just see the lone Moose as he was sitting down at the far end of his enclosure hidden in the shadows.
The Grizzly Bears were by far the most interesting animals of the day so far, we arrived at their enclosure at feeding time. The male grizzly was HUGE. I can see why you would not want to meet one of them in the wild! He was very grumpy when the much smaller female tried to eat at the same time as him so she kept a quiet distance for a while. ...
