While the area is slightly depressed, the hotel is extremely clean and safe. The rooms are large and very clean too.

So the closer it gets, I'm a little nervous about the drive to LA, but I figure I'll go for a test drives do hopefully someone that works there can come for a cruise just to explain the road rules and whatnot and if I don't feel confident I'll just cancel and catch a bus but driving would be sweet, maybe I'll try find someone at the hostel to join me.
Anyway I'm off to do some washing, 3 days in these jeans is enough!!

Well, today we made it as far west as we plan to go. We dropped the RV off at Camping World in Vacaville, CA to get the oil changed after 4,000 miles across country. We had reserved a rental car from the local Enterprise, and after a loooong wait to get the car, we drove the final 58 miles into San Francisco.

We woke up early in the am with the sound of strong wind and hard rain. Thank God I had spent time caulking and sealing up hotel california because at 1 am you don't want to worry about leaks when your locked in a campground! When it got daylight we planned on leaving and going to the aquarium together since it was raining. The rain had stopped for a moment and I decided to make a few casts from the bank before we left. I fully expected to catch one ...
