    ... right. But we did and figured out that it was wrong. So, we stopped and asked at a hotel and they got us on the right track…the park was still 1hr 15 mins away.

    ... a quick change and fired up the heaters and seat warmers for our trip to Zadar.

    All went well on the trip and we got to experience Croatian motorways where going 140kph is slow and Shaylee had to give me a slow down when we were heading over 180kph.

    Further down the road we happened to be turned down a 1.5 car wide road by sat nav lady.... Maybe she still wasn't that happy with being overworked the past few weeks!     ... Croatia which seems more akin to the British tin loaf - soft crumb and crust - good keeping quality over several days if you can resist cutting off another chunk.     Too much to tell about this UNESCO listed area. A photographer's dream. A natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes, surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Amazing scenery, fabulous day, have seen nothing ever to compare and reinforces justification of maintaining our pristine inherited environments. A must see destination, if you can.
