    ... tomorrow. Now laying in bed with Taryn on top bunk, hand made bunks, new mattress and duvets. In a 8 dorm room, 1 Chinese, 2 English, 2 German and one other I haven't met.     We braved the fog and drive towards entrance # 1 at Plitvice Lakes National Park. We turned into the parking lot and the machines were covered and the gates were open. We drove along one path that eventually turned into a leaf covered pathway - probably by for cars. Eventually we noticed a bridge that allowed you to walk over to the other side of the highway.     ... car, they had found a helpful park employee who had arranged a car to drive them up to the carpark, which had saved Poppy trying to climb up 250 steps (which he had walked down) and a 500m uphill walk to the carpark. We drove them down to Entrance 1, which according to my research, would have a view of the big falls within reasonable walking distance. And thank goodness, within 250m and over perfectly flat cobblestones, there was the lookout.

    ... here. Great quantity of dried figs on sale as we have seen across Croatia, all local produce. Had to buy some. The butchers display and cuts were as we are used to decades ago, but also very fresh. The roosters hanging up looked fresh off the chopping block. The seafood market was like a smorgasbord of the Mediterranean. Fish of all sizes, some so bizarre and I wonder if I have been served it at some time. Masses of squid as I expected as it would be the standard item ...
