      ... trying the walk... We got past a lot of them (with their ponchos on) and preceeded to the first waterfall - amazed by how blue the water was! More so than Vanuatu, the Swiss or New Zealand Alps, so blue that it was almost always possible to see the bottom of the lakes clearly.

      ... pour se débarrasser d'elle, une des agences lui lâche une information cruciale: le lendemain est le 1er mai, c'est férié en Croatie et c'est la date où la ligne de bus commence son service matinal! Appel au terminal pour confirmer, oui oui c'est bien vrai (les manchots n'auraient pas pu me le dire la veille?!), c'est possible de faire l'aller-retour en une journée dès le lendemain! Youpi! :D

      ... near Veliki Slap. We were also closer to more small waterfalls that are beside the walking track. I have enjoyed two days of walking in such a picturesque natural environment (tho in places packed with others). It is a contrast after may days in towns where the key interests and features are structural and historical. Plitvice has provided what I had hoped for in the diversity of experiencing Croatia.
