Yomi and I stepped off the boat in Badagry at 6:02 p.m. and found a motorcycle to take us back to the motor park at the roundabout on the Lagos/Badagry Expressway. ... westbound on the expressway before exiting into Phase II at 4:48. There is a security gate we passed through to enter the compound, then it was a four-minute drive to reach the hotel. Total travel time from the airport was 55 minutes.

I ended up giving the driver 4,500 naira ($27.61) instead of the 4,000 we had agreed upon at the airport. Right now I can’t recall why I did that.
