Had a good trip yesterday, the majority of it was on the A75 which is dual carriageway, unfortunately using local roads would have taken far too long. The road was fairly quiet but as the altitude increased so did the thickness of fog which we were in for about 30 miles then we were back in brilliant sunshine. Looking out of the van window now the sunshine is about to continue today.

We took a wander down to the oceanfront where the harbour was surrounded by small restaurants/bars and shops -each had their turn in the sunlight! Elsewhere in town, a well-at-least-they're-trying Catalan choir was pumping out jolly ditties to an admiring audience. The pride and independence of the Catalans is plain everywhere and there was a huge turnout in Barcelona on 'Dia' - national day of Catalonia - to make it quite clear what they want. ...
