Steffie and I had trouble deciding what to do on Sunday, but when we saw that we had good weather and blue skies, we definitely weren't staying at home. So Steffie came up with the idea of going to the zoo in Heidelberg. I hadn't really though about going there because Steffie always said that it's so small and under renovation, but she wanted to take her nephew along so off we went!

Really cool and outstanding was my little trip up the castle. I walked down but drove up with a cool lift :-) The castle is absolutely beautiful, a must see. I only had little time so I went to see the pharmacy museum in the castle walls, rather then visiting the castle rooms.
I would have loved to stay longer still am very happy with what I saw. The castle / the ruin of the castle is charming and beautiful.
... I even was offered a blanket as it was turning chilly.
We got back safely with mo getting lost. Bed time and another new country to follow.

... and enquired as to the state of my bottom. In practise its the doing 40 mph for hours that gets me rather than the sitting down. On the other side was another bar with even more drinker/riders; pretty much the whole town goes out to socialise on may 1st it seems. I’m rather envious.
