          ... was only in Dutch, so I didn’t understand a word of it (sounded double Dutch to me), but the cruise was very enjoyable anyway. I walked around the city for a while afterwards.           ... 20 years ago. ( I can still see Dad sitting on the stool having a sausage and beer.) The stall holders were packing up so will visit again tomorrow.

          Found a restaurant close by and Sophie was in her element as schnitzel was on the menu. She ordered a half portion which could have fed 4 people. They really do eat large meals in Germany.

          Walked back to the hotel and the night air was starting to become chilly. In bed by 8.30pm and out like a light.
