    ... but you just can't look away. It's repulsive and sobering at the same time. I'm so glad I chose to go there. After seeing Dachau I kinda didn't give a **** about München when we went and toured through the city. It was 100 degrees and it just didn't really appeal to me.     ... 20 years ago. ( I can still see Dad sitting on the stool having a sausage and beer.) The stall holders were packing up so will visit again tomorrow.

    Found a restaurant close by and Sophie was in her element as schnitzel was on the menu. She ordered a half portion which could have fed 4 people. They really do eat large meals in Germany.

    Walked back to the hotel and the night air was starting to become chilly. In bed by 8.30pm and out like a light.

    ... Fortunately i found my way and went up to Kaiserberg, the home of the Roman Empire in Nuremberg. I walked through the open rooms of the palace and through the museum.     ... not a soul around the hotel. So we drove further to the Malerwinkel which was a restaurant with a beautiful terrace right on the lake....so we had a Weiss bier and sat in the son..
