Hello! This might have been one of my favorite weeks in Europe so far.

This week I had the pleasure of participating in a weeklong residency in Falun, Sweden. It was ran by the amazing Modhir Ahmed. (http://modhir.com/web/) Falun, Sweden is home to one of the largest copper mines in Europe. Therefore, the print shop became well known for printing from copper etching plates.

... Niklas swoops in with a dance to separate me. He was keeping an eye on me as 'I'm one of the group now'.. So sweet!

... technically once in a lifetime experience I agreed to go swimming in the lake just before midnight (pre and post sauna was required)!!.. The video footage says it all, it was pretty cold!!

Some more wine later and we decided that we needed to find the source of some music, a party, and to find me a Swedish man to keep me here in Sweden ;) A few middle aged men drinking, we kept walking past and went to bed..

Getting quite cold, we returned for strawberries, cream, meringue with lemon
