    Today Lisa, Alexa, and I got observed by our University of Wisconsin - Whitewater Professor (Dr. Kolb). She got to see us teaching English to our fourth grade classes. It was nice to be able to show her around the school so that she could see what we do each day!

    Today was our first day at Hagaskolen (Haga School)! It was about a 20 minute walk from our hostel to the school and surprisingly we didn't even get lost (woohoo!). When we got to the school, the doors were unlocked so we just walked in. We went into the hallway which we assumed was the main office.     ... the best part is that there are as many locals as there are tourists out enjoying the space and spectacle that is Copenhagen. Unfortunately we were again too early in the season, by a week to 10 days, to enjoy many of the landmark attractions like Tivoli, and a couple of the more contemporary museums, but on the whole very cool.     And the fun of opening all of those wonderful gifts began. Each child exclaimed with surprise and delight as they unwrapped their packages....forming an enormous mound of paper which the adults gathered into several large trash bags!

    ... and clean and you don't feel like you could get killed down there, unlike the other ones. You use the fob to reserve a time and you can't get into any of the rooms unless it is the time for the room that you reserved so you don't need to worry about people taking your clothes. That was just a mess.
    It's been a hectic week, that's for sure, but I am curious to see what this upcoming week will bring in the classroom. Hopefully we can help out ...
