Visiting the Au Pair!
... want to push yourself to stay in there too long, because you can get sick. The fifteen minutes or so that I spent in it was just fine.
The final day of my visit came. We had pretty much done everything that there was to do in Umea, so Jessica and I just walked around the city center. I bought a cook book to take home with me for Victor and me to use throughout the upcoming year. We finished off my trip in Umea with one last fika to celebrate Gustav ...
Visiting my Alma Mater- Umea Institiute of Design
I arrived in Umeå, Sweden to attend my Alma Mater Umeå Institute of Design degree show and the Design Talks. It was really great being back to see everyone there and how much the school is growing. COMING AND GOING (THE LAST "HEJ DÅ")
... and GREAT PERSONALITIES. Swedes have great personalities when you get to know them. They stay young for a long time, I think. Elaine and I hung out with and said good-bye to some of my Umeå friends: Anna worked with me at the boat-cafe/restaurant; she's a tall, cute, short-haired light-blond who's sarcastic and witty over the phone and fun too. Shorter Clara worked with me too; she has a freckly face which looks like a lynx kitten's, and ...
