Dinner was at Det Lille Apotek (The Little Pharmacy), a very old restaurant where famous Danes have been regulars over the years. I had a salmon that was very tasty. After dinner we went to the Ice Bar, which is, you guessed it, a bar made out of ice. We were outfitted with giant thermal ponchos to put over our summery clothes (the weather was amazing). I just bought my first bustickets for my trip yesterday so now plans are actually getting set in stone. I am looking forward to going with megabus, but need to start buying greyhound tickets soon as well to get the best prices for all my west-coast travels.

... a football field, and was full of dogs. Swedes apparently love their canines, as I saw more throughout the city yesterday than I did in a weekend in Paris last March. We walked through the entire park down to the beach, where we found a long pier with a cafe on the end. It was an essential stop since we were all freezing. I bought a hot chocolate and a pistachio dessert ball which turned out to be better than the hot chocolate. Yum! After we warmed up ...

... july 1st...but...I have nowhere to stay while there..and I'd like to see a lil bit more of Seattle and spend a night in Bozeman, Montana before heading to the midwest..
The couchsurfers in Seattle seem really cool and would be awesome to meet up with S. in Tacoma/at the base...so...spend fourth in Seattle/Tacoma....or go to Sisseton?

Hm...quite pleasent conundrums though!
By the way conundrum is my word of the week.

... The best way to describe it is a hippy town, with graffiti everywhere, garbage-can fires on each street, and a community of strange-looking people. We ended up taking a tour of the town from a resident, who had a lot of strange perspectives on the town. Some of these stories are better told than written, so if you’re interested, ask me later!
