6/7/15. Off to Denmark The car was loaded with luggage and we set off, cameras at the ready so as not to miss the big bridge on the way to Sweden! We drove out of town easily, and onto the freeway, heading towards the Oresund Bridge at 130kmh! The bridge is a motor and rail bridge, it starts on the Danish side with a four-kilometre tunnel under the Drogden Strait exiting on an artificial island called Peberholm. The bridge itself then runs eight kilometres to the ...

This is Regent's first visit to Karlskrona. It is a busy summer tourist area ...

We had the afternoon off, so we decided to walk around the city for a few hours to check out some of the local sights before our farewell party that evening. We visited Fredrikskyrkan Church, situated on Stortorget, the main square in the city centre. We then toured an art museum and walked along the waterfront. And we had to stop by an ...

I wake late on my couch, with no sunrise to see over a sky of cloud. Dan and Lars are upstairs with Alvin; I can hear his children's cartoons coming from Dan’s room. Joelle is still sleeping, so I move to the kitchen as quietly as possible. Figuring it’s time to bake, I go through their cupboards. Biscuits with Apple and Ginger and Cinnamon should turn out ok. Dan takes Alvin out to daycare and Lars comes down to see what I’m doing, a ...
