... around the building to a chairlift to take us up the mountain. That was not dry fun. Sara and I were both freaking out, especially each time they stopped the lift to let someone else on. Each time they did that we bobbed up and down on the line, which was pretty scary! The chairlift took about 20 minutes to get us up to the very top of the mountain. We were a little disappointed when we first got to the top because we couldn't see anything. We thought it was ...

The reindeer was really nice, although bizarre to be eating it (sorry Santa). The meat is very dark, quite similar in taste and texture to venison. Very spontaneously, we decided to sign up right then for a hiking trip through Abisko National Park, located in the Swedish Lapland above the Arctic Circle. Looking back, it was the best decision of my study abroad experience thus far.

Went back up into the valley today. Walked akin the west side to the delta area. Weather was lovely. Luckily it doesn't look like there has been much rain as the rivers were all relatively easy to cross. Will be a shame to go home on Friday, will miss the peace and quiet I find this place so ...
