    ... was the yeast-based baked goods. A standard morning/afternoon tea (or "fika") in Sweden usually includes some kind of delicious cinnamon roll or cardamom bun or vanilla sugar custard bun-ball thing or some such yumness, often homemade. So we spent the day baking. I think Pete was pretty bored by the process, but he knew full well that the end product would be worth it, so he diligently carried out all assigned tasks.

    ... surrounding village looked like it was an affluent area with lots of red painted wooden houses with terraces set around a lovely lake with a fountain. It really was too hot to do anything else so we headed back to the digs and I am currently sat in the garden with a coffee. Off out tonight to a local hostelry for a beer (only £4 a pint) and some food. All in all a quiet day. Another big riding day tomorrow I believe so early night for me later Catch you all ...

    ... is from. 8-9 and there was a small pizzeria down the road so we ate there tonight. The b&b looks like it is in the middle of Milton Keynes - it is very strange but is our home for 2 nights. So far over 700 miles ridden and it is only day 3 - I think Tomorrow is a bit of a rest day - Swedish railway museum, galve old town and time to repack my stuff into some semblance of order. Off to bed now so will sign off ...

    ... spot, more like a lay-by, 20 metres from the E4 which is full of traffic. Some picnic spots or motorway service areas charge for an overnight spot often up to 300 SEK and they are not the best! This place is OK, other folk are here but also noisy though free. All the facilities a motorhomers needs are available though. A long day with 12 hours on the road, except for stops of course, but what one would expect when heading up to the edge of the Arctic ...

    ... in the Baltic sea. I had to forced people to say 'hey' when they walked past (in ways I will never reveal). So here, in Paris and its hot. Real hot.
