    ... there home country. He was aot of fun. Then it was time to hop in the car and leave. Christian enjoyex the E4 topping out his speed at 176km/h. We hot to our next hotel in no time at all. Nykoping is a medievil town on the coast. We also headed down to Oxelsund another coastal town and did a little walk. Christian found the roads hard to navigate due to so many being pedestrain streets only. We were both exhausted so headed to bed to be ready for the next days ...

    ... and we bowled along, averaging 6 knots for hours. However, by 13:45, just as we were the furthest point from land and more or less where we were going to tack to come back in towards the archipelago, the wind suddenly fell to a F2, leaving us with 20 miles out to sea, a sea that by now was quite lumpy and not enough wind to do any speed worth talking about. We therefore had no choice other than (after a rant or two by yours truly) to start the engine and head in to shore. ...

    ... wine and beer stocks. The Systembolaget (the state liquor store) was in town, close to the supermarket, so that was where we went, after dropping the computer off in the harbour office to get them to charge it – and they charged for the privilege. More black marks for Nynäshamn marina!
