However, by 13:45, just as we were the furthest point from land and more or less where we were going to tack to come back in towards the archipelago, the wind suddenly fell to a F2, leaving us with 20 miles out to sea, a sea that by now was quite lumpy and not enough wind to do any speed worth talking about.
