All in all it was fun but I didn't realise that because they didn't have a fridge and they only get a food delivery once a month they can't keep any kind of meat in camp. So as the weeks go on, day to day things are pretty much the same so here's a few little bits of things that have been going on. Just before Vicki and Katie left they managed to hire some body boards and as you hire them for the day they said I could have a go. Considering I had never tried it they gave me some tips. One was called the owl eye butterfly and I think the other is called the Blue Monarch. I put banana on my finger and was ...

... the river to the waterfalls. The entrance looked like the beginning of an abandoned house. However, sure enough, there was a very nice, secluded waterfall with nobody else around.

On the drive back we saw three monkeys! We saw two on the trees just next to the road and then another large one just hanging out on a telephone line.

It was now time to head out to our next destination. Brian and I said goodbye to JP and his ...

... the work I will be doing there.

I've been meeting a lot of people and everyone is really nice. Yesterday one of our friends took us to the river for a cookout. It was a long walk through the country dirt roads, past farms and monkey filled forests. It's dry season so the water was pretty low and it was freezing! We had a little cookout with some sausage ...
