      ... duty from 00:30 - 3:30 and then because there was only 3 of us there I was on the morning census as well at 6:00. So I only had about 3 hours sleep, well more like lying still in a puddle. The thing was though that due to the roofing situation there was no where to put clothes and things to dry that wouldn't make them even wetter so for the whole 3 days we were there I was never dry. I don't know how the co-ordinator Annie could do that for 6 months, ...

      ... and buried them! Like we do that for excavations, now does a 4 year old know how to do that? This trip is constantly amazing me. This was one of those moments that you realise that that one person in that moment has and will ever change your life. It may be by the smallest thing they do, like I had one with one of the orphan kids in Kenya and this was one of those moments. I couldn't ask for anything else right now. The journey awaits ...

      ... which is amazing!! We chose a good spot and released them. Carried on patrolling and we noticed something just on the wave line moving around. At first we all thought it was a turtle but as we got closer we a all realised it was flailing around, way more than a turtle should. Thinking it was a fish of some kind we moved in. As we got to it we saw that it was in fact a dolphin!! It was around 1.5m long but because the undercurrent of the waves is so strong it had obviously been hunting ...

      ... a foreign language and overall still having a good time. Not many people get to do what I'm doing and in this country, most residents do not have the comforts I have back home. No air conditioning, no clothes dryers (luxury), old old old cars as newer ones are very expensive and yet, they are happy. They have everything they need to sustain an easy going lifestyle.       ... showed up in the pool with their kids. We met a family from San Jose, Costa Rica. The mother was a native and the father was from Montana. He came here 10 years ago and was about to leave when he met his wife. We met an awesome poolside waiter named Juan Diego and Cindy. Cindy is studying to be an English teacher here in Costa Rica and speaks pretty good English. We were bouncing our Spanish off of her.
