We decided after a couple of days of constant rain to move our location. We left in the middle of one of the worst storms we had gotten since arriving. It had rained so hard and the thunder shook the ground for hours through the night. After a five hours drive up and over every mountain in the Nicoya Peninsula, we arrived at our new home. ... to speak total Spanish but nope, they were Yankies and.... We were all headed back to Potrero. They offered me a ride before I could even ask.... Lifesavers from New York. We waited till the sunset then headed back to town, a 45 minute hike for me, a 5 minute drive for all of us. Oh yeah, they even treated me to a beer on the way. I'm definitely going to try to return to this beach tomorrow and hit La Playa Prieta as well. Gotta go get my homework done... ¡Pura ...

shoulder strap of the bag, the women returned and scooped the bag up. She
unzipped the bag to reveal a chicken, she offered it some water from a dish she
had gone to fill while I was supposed to be watching the bag, before stuffing
it back in and zipping it up to its neck. The bus arrived for Upala, I climbed
on and paid the driver, sleepily found a window seat and daydreamed for the
drive back. ...
