So, after spending 3 days in what felt like 'Middle Earth', we got onboard our private shuttle service to Tenorio National Park - and just to clarify, we were still in 'Middle Earth'. The thing with Costa Rica, sandwiched between 'not so efficient' countries, is that it is actually very efficient with time and service. Our Costa Tican (see what I did there - Tico, Rican? Nevermind) were on time and their skills were much needed to master the very uncomfortable spine shifting ...

... for dinner. We picked a restaurant called Ginger outside of the resort. We took a short 10 minute ride to Ginger which is a nice upscale restaurant in the town of Hermosa. The restaurant was an Asian tapas style restaurant and the food was fantastic. At dinner we met a couple and their son from Evanston, Illinois. Apparently we will be on the same flight home together this Sa***************ed back to the resort after dinner and had a night cap at the bar ...
