Day 2 on the mountain was a much more pleasant experience as the temperature climbed a little. Still a balmy -15 degrees. It seemed like yesterday everyone wasn't having too much fun yesterday with all of the falling over so today I took some extra extra time and helped everyone individually and by midday they were all making it down the bigger bunny hill without falling over.
... and knuckled the jump super bad and only just pulled it back without stacking it. I left the park for the day and went back down to the bunny hill to check on everyone else.
It was good to see that they had kept it up and pushed through and were all slowly improving. We grabbed some lunch and I hung out with them all for the rest of the day. The mountain closed at 3:30 which to me was absurd. ...
We woke up this morning stressing about what we were going to do with organizing a lift pass and also trying to fit in some other activity. We all decided on dog sledding but with only 2 available times, and it being the first day of the dog sledding season we didn't think we would be able to organize anything. But hey if you don't ask, you don't get. We enquired and turns out there was a free spot to go dog sledding this afternoon for 5 people. Well that was lucky so we jumped on ...
... us all pumped as we were driving passed resort after resort of running lifts and the snow looked good! Eventually, about 2 hours after we set off, we arrived! It took us a bit of time to find our accommodation as it was a little far away from the mountain, but still well situated in the town of Tremblant. We checked in, and got a room for the 5 of us all to ourselves, which meant we could be as messy as we liked. My **** got unpacked ...
