Christmas in Germany
For the past few weeks we have been enjoying several German Christmas traditions -- including visiting numerous Christmas Markets, St Nicolas day (6 Dec) and even had our First Snow day just a few days before Christmas.
Of course - being away from home, we miss our own traditions and this year we embarked in attempting to make tamales at home. They came out great !!!
Miss ya :)

Market Madness
... serious shopping for German-made Christmas items. Entertainers were singing Christmas music from a stage set up near the chairlift and even the weather cooperated by giving up a reprieve from the rain.
Eventually we had to get back to the bus and travel a bit more up the Rhine, crossing by ferry to return to our ship.

Well, this is the end of my travel blog - but hopefully not the end of my trips to Canada. I'd definitely like to go ...
Castle Territory
We just got here today around 8 PM... and didn't finish supper until 10 PM.. so we didn't really get to see any of the city and it kinda sucks cause tomorrow we have to leave at 7:30 AM...
But I can try to describe the city and I will update some pictures tomorrow.
It is situated in the mountains and there are castles all over. It is lush and full of greenery.
The houses are old/picturesque.
The Rhine River is running through the town, it is really beautiful!
