    ... Finally reached the secluded little village and it was bloody awesome. No tcars in Gimmelwald, only accessible by gondola or hike. Very pleasant! Not busy at all, It was about 7pm though. Shitloads of more photos and I was back on a mission to get back to Murren and up the mountain to the chalet. By the time I got to Murren I was totally rooted... And there was still a good half hour vertical hike to go! Pre season footy training ...

    ... to go straight down the steep slope RUNNING rather
    than use the level trail with switchbacks. Edi calmly commented,"Oh they always run!" It was kind of refreshing to see a country that believes kids need to
    scrape their knees.



    So Switzerland has jumped to the top of the list of
    countries we need to spend much more time exploring.

    Woke up early, I mean early 4:45 am, took our panoramic train through the Swiss Alps on our way to Lauterbrunnen. We saw magnificent views of small towns, lakes, rivers, mountains, lots of mountains, we even saw a deer with horns. We arrived at Lauterbrunnen and were in awe of the fantastic scenery, the high mountains of the Jungfrau region. We ate our buffet breakfast at the hotel and started our journey through the alps.
