Swiss Alps Part 1: Day Hike

A travel blog entry by onourway

... In Mürren, population 450, we rested for a bit on the mountainside with a picnic supper. Then we began a winding descent and within the hour arrived in Gimmelwald, population 130. Most of the residents hold one of three family names. As 2012, is the 100 year anniversary of the opening of Jungfrau, there was a special DVD played when we passed through the tunnels of ...

If and when Joe ever passes away, his epitaph is going to read, "How I Literally Drove my Wife Insane." For a bit of background before I delve into my story, every place we've ever travelled that has a terminus point, Joe is determined that we go there and see it. As an example, when we visited Vancouver ...
