    ... Maj Dick Winters swam in the Zeller every morning and the scenes from the show looked so incredible I just had to visit. Fast forward 12 years from that series and there we were. On the shores of an amazing lake surrounded by green hills and snow topped peaks.     ... the boat terminal, we decided to walk to the cable car but it was closed. We had a very late lunch, sitting in the sun on large wood chairs, eating cheese dumpling soup was pleasant. Back to town for a wander, tried the cable car there but it was closed too! But we really enjoyed the charming town.     ... the path was from the station, we caught a taxi, the driver was not impressed. Our room as usual is clean and neat. We are on the second floor with a balcony. The main road beside it as does the rail line, but it is quiet and I hope the trains do not run all night. We walked to a local hotel and had a good meal.
