    ... We stayed clear of the left lane for the most part and did remark that three hot machines blew by us(on each others tail) as if we were standing still and we were doing 130 kmh. Some things never change!!!

    As I write, we are enjoying a refreshment in our Hotel zum Muehle located on the Rhine River. A wonderful setting but not enough good light for pics when we arrived. Tomorrow after breakfast (our standard routine) will work much better. We have ...

    FINALLY - feeling like my old self!! I thought I was losing it!! We had a nice dinner last night - it was the chef's farewell dinner...7 courses...luckily they are not into huge portions, but we thought the 5th course was the main course...the staff is so diverse and they all have their own story, and they want to tell their story, which is nice and a little to personal sometimes...I guess that is a fine ...

    ... be more sporadic as we head down to Amsterdam. We arrived in Koblenz around everyone was able to make their tours to the Marksburg Castle and they did a Mosel wine tour. AL and went to town to do a little shopping. I am still dragging. I guess I'm just a complainer...wish I could go to sleep now!! But, we have the farewell dinner!! ugh. I can't believe we have two more days on the ship. That's just incredible. There's relaxing days have been nice ...

    ... to see the Museum of Egypotology, Bonn University and the Akademisches Kunstmuseum in the well tendered grounds. Just to the south was a museum of adding machines and counting called the Arithmeum. We then walked into the town to see the imposing structure of the Bonn Minster, one of the oldest Roman Catholic Churches in Germany.     ... other again within a few years. I think after three years, I am finally me again. I have learned to take care of myself, remember most things, I can read a map again, and I can relate to my peers. It is like coming alive after a long nightmare. I don't know how I will manage in my continuing solitary confinement sentence in Australia. Thank god for Jenny. I have not seen Reinhild yet and Marita wants me stay with them overnight next week ... mal ...
