We expected him to be expecting us. We had no local address or phone number for him and we had no phone for ...

Tonight we had German wines of course. Doesn't everyone when they are in Germany?

After dinner our tour guide took about 100 of us into the town of Koblenz for a short and interesting walking tour. We were all wired up with our own radio receivers so it was easy to hear the commentary as we walked. It is a 2000 year old cobbled stoned city and very charming.
