We were planning to go to Liechtenstein but thought we may as well as it was sort of on our way. It's the worlds 6 smallest country so it would have been rude not to go..haha.

We didn't drive to the main town but to another.. where really there wasn't anything. I did get a photo with the tourist sign though. Had to somehow prove I'd been there!
Bütschwil, Kanton St. Gallen, Switzerland andiontour... can watch all the processes they go through to make the cheese, which was pretty interesting! We watched the cheese-makers go through all the processes for quite a while and had a drink at in the restaurant before going back to Gossau for an authentic cheese Fondue!

We got up early the next morning and said goodbye to Heinz and Elsa, and caught our 1st train to get to Prague. It took us about 10.5 hours to get there.. LOOOOOONG time sitting on trains!!
Gossau, St. Gallen, Switzerland benanna... Feldkirch I got lost. Actually I was just trying to get to McDonald's because the group wanted a bathroom break and the public toilets here were not to our standards. Anyway, I drove past the McDonald's twice - once my fault and once the navigator's - and drove down a pedestrian only section of road before we gave up and continued on our journey out of town and deeper into Austria.
Feldkirch, Austrian Alps, Austria travelingdivaOur next stop was St Gallen, home of a beautiful abbey with a medieval library and neighbouring by a charming Old Town. We walked around the abbey exterior before everyone went inside, with the exception of Lincoln and I. I have been here before and know it is a very ornate baroque design inside.

Next, we walked to the abbey library which houses the largest medieval collection of books in the world, basically. There was an admission to go in and my ...
St. Gallen, St. Gallen, Switzerland travelingdiva... very good English. He is a teacher and was so very enthralled with our trip. He asked if I knew the Canadian George St. Piere. I said no, then he told me and I said Len would know him. He is an ultimate fighter and this chap thought George to be the best in the world

They offered us some new potatoes to have with our dinner. After dinner we have blueberries and ice cream. I shared the rest of our ice cream with them. We clean up the ...
Lindau, Bavaria, Germany dancejill... get on the bus I watched southern Liechtenstein roll past on the way to Vaduz. Cute villages with quaint houses, cows grazing in green pastures, and a castle sitting on a high hill surrounded by vineyards.

Vaduz is a very nice city. The royal residence, a castle of course, sits on a high cliff directly above the city centre. The main street is a pedestrian street with shops and restaurants, museums, the tourist office, the ...
Vaduz, Liechtenstein travelingdiva... walk from the carpark to the centre of town is only 10 minutes and takes you across the railway lines via an old wooden pedestrian bridge. We were soon in the centre of town walking along the main shopping street, Maximilianstrasse, with its colourful facades, flowers, shops and outdoor restaurants - all restricted from any car traffic. Like so many other places around here, Lindau has a long and checkered history. In 1224 ...
Lindau, Bavaria, Germany evasolo... Gottlieben, Switzerland. One of Rick's business associates had made reservations for us at the Hotel Drachenburg. Quite a nice place! Our room seemed very French with a bidet and a chaise lounge. We had lunch there and had dinner with Helmut. I don't have the name of the restaurant, but we had possibly the best poached salmon ever!!
