... and it turned out the lady from Bristol was a Vice Chairman of her local NAFAS flower arranging club and would be visiting Dublin for the WAFA show.

This evenings entertainment was by a Virtuoso Flautist - Suzanne Godfrey. We had heard her practicing earlier in the day, the sound was beautiful then and during her performance which featured Mancini movies as part of her repertoire was quite spell binding.
Tomorrow we are At Sea En route to Bergen.

... is known for its cheese. Yum. They pointed us down the Flower Auction, Bloemenveiling towards Jordaan where we shopped and cafe hopped. We ended in the park in front of the Van Gogh Museum listening to a street performer plating jazz guitar in the sun and grass. Now off the meet up with Thomas, Moni and friends to go to a local summer theater&circus festival. I have no idea what to expect, but find that is part of the fun. Ciao for now ...

... pizzas. They were pretty delicious! Five of us at and drank for €40 all up! We then grabbed some beers then headed to Isaac & Clare's mates birthday party. It was hilarious! It was at an apartment up three flights of 'dutch stairs'. The majority of people there were kiwis, they seem to have developed a little kiwi community here. ... Haag. We took a tram to Scheveningen and discovered the beach. It was a breezy cool day but we found what we would call the boardwalk and walked around for awhile. We had some time to kill before dinner. It was a nice boardwalk that we found out is completely taken down in the winter. All the building are folded up and stored even the boardwalk when winter comes. ...

Dutch landscape: the one thing we've noticed in travelling the countryside (besides everything being flat), is that the fields are very green and full of cows, sheep, horses, etc. There are no fences around these fields - the fields are surrounded by ditches which feed into canals. There is lots of water everywhere we go in Holland. The animals seem very happy ...
