... I would just fall Down the slope somewhere. I ended up trekking up really slow (yes I was so paiseh/guilty about it). The trekking journey seems like it's never ending. The next town seems nearer and nearer but the trek never ends hahaha. In mid way of the trek, we saw a backpacker setting up a store and selling female accessories like bracelets and stuff, how cool/weird is that! Hahaha. Who will buy accessories like that when everyone is so tired from the trekking ...

... a little further than us ladies) we decided to take a dip to cool off before lunch.

I enjoyed beautiful fresh seafood for lunch, the boys had their first Italian pizzas - I had a bite and it's NOTHING like you would get at home, Zarah ordered pesto pasta. All delish!

Next on the agenda was Torre Di Pisa (the leaning tower of Pisa) along the way we saw beautiful ice glaciers and also ...

I ventured out about 7.30pm for an appertivo where I spoke to a couple from Canberra who were on their honeymoon. The Cinque Terre is certainly a lovely place to honeymoon! I then had Prosecco with my ravioli ragu and chatted with a Melbourne woman before wandering back home. Ahh, it was a lovely day ...

... and hauled ass to the train and then up a massive hill. Luckily everyone was struggling as well. We were dripping sweat! I'm in a 8 bed dorm but it is a house with 8 beds... Weird. I met some people and we went to the beach which was a very rocky outcrop. The rocks were too big to mould into but the water was nice. Stayed there a bit then we went back I got changed and decided to go visit another town by myself. Started in corneiglia but it was so ...

I cannot say enough about how amazing the Cinque Terre is. Today we went to the larger town of La Spezia. We walked through their daily market which had lots of great fruits, vegetables, seafood and cheese. I so wish we had something like this at home. We then took the ferry to Portovenere which is actually part of the Italian Riveria not the Cinque Terre. What a beautiful, historic town. We walked to an old castle and an old church than wandered around ...
