    ... glory. It is quite beautiful and there are not nearly as many tourists as we thought there would be. We spend about an hour or so taking all the required "holding the tower up" photos as well as of the surrounding cathedral buildings. Climbing to the top is not an option for Scott or David with their dodgy knee and ankle and I'm secretly pleased as I hazard it would be too much for me too.     ... were hopelessly lost for some time, actually dragging our cases along the cobblestone roads. We found a cafe and had bruschetta and coffee and wifi!

    We finally found our street and met the owners of our unit .It is on the 3rd floor overlooking the centre full of street restaurants and cafes.

    The apartment has 2br, 2 bathrooms and a new kitchen, totally fabulous!

    through the town, followed by a more delightful jaunt down the stairs we climbed up, laughing at all of the suckers heading up the stairs, we headed back to Vernazza as the sun was starting to poke its head out.
