... so much bread! After a coffee, we walked to Juliet's home where we lined up for a photo touching her statue and breast- it is supposed to be good luck in love! And then capturing every angle of the balcony, love letters that line the entrance and love locks that cover the walls and trees. This is the one place I've wanted to visit for as long as I can remember and today I am finally here! It was a lot smaller than I pictures but perfectly magical all the same. It was fairly busy ...

This building has always been used as a shopping venue and now contains very high-end fashion stores. We head for Tramin, a lovely little South Tyrollean village tucked in under one of the massive Dolomite peaks. The valley below is full of apple orchards and the slopes above thick with vines. We're immediately struck by Tramin's lack of Italian character... none of the signs are ...

Today we travelled from Moneglia to Bardolino, Lake Garda in northern Italy. We travelled through a 6 km one-way converted train tunnel to leave Moneglia. We missed the green light by 1 min and had to wait 20 mins before it was our turn!! It rained most of the 3.5 hours drive over fantastic autostrada's and it cost about €30 in tolls. We had such perfect weather over the last week we didn't mind ...

... 8211; because it is situated out of the city centre. It is called LA FAVORITA- rooms and facilities are certainly good. We parked the car and went for a walk to the local shopping centre. There is a concert hall and gaming expo on today and nearby a Rice Expo!! We are reasonably tired after all the driving so we bought supplies and are hanging around in the room – we have a large terrace to eat on so that is good. It is a hardly any photos day! Certainly a light dinner ...
