... experience….dimly lit pastel colored buildings, old narrow cobblestone streets, little store windows lightly lit to show their valuable contents and a small church with a beautiful spire and a Roman column marking the front entrance. It was we were walking into a postcard picture of a quaint, ancient little town! As we wandered our way towards the town center we marveled at the clean streets and the antiquity that surrounded us.

... We were off! Exiting the building through 7 levels of switchbacks was a good introduction to Italian roads. For those of you who might not have had the opporunity to drive in Italy or Europe, the parking garages as well as the streets tend to be about 3 sizes smaller than they are in North America.
