... a week . The weather is not helping us here. This afternoon we meet Kellie who has flown in from Hamburg.
Yesterday we drove (in a bus - the car will stay in the garage here in Sorrento) to Amalfi and everthing we had been told about this drive is true. I have great respect for SITA bus drivers. We went on a little further to Minori and Maori - our favourites - far from the madding tourists - walked a little ...

Bright and early this morning at 6:00a.m., the crew of Milena began our 12-hour ( approx. 100 miles) crossing from the Italian Aeolian Islands, to the coastal city of Acciaroli, which is roughly 70km SE of the town of Salerno. Finally after some delays we headed out at 12:30. We went to three different caves and then ended up at a beach for a swim.

On the way back we tried to get into the blue grotto cave which is the most famous however the sea was too rough and so ...

Wandering around the Cilento coastline (Part 1)

Today was a late start again (except for Jen who braved the local roads and went for a morning run and picked up some fresh delights from the local patisserie) however by 11am we were all feeling like discovering a new piece of Italy. So we headed south to Acciaroli which we found is a well restored small town with a nice beach. We skipped the ...
