And from there I found connections at 1400 kms reaching Taiwan but mostly for chinese residents..
So I'll find a way to sneak on those very cheap boats or flights if ever there's one from Xiamen . And in Taiwan the fantasy will start : Finding a real job to survive, of course without any visa of any kind where would the fun be otherwise ? :))

Its only 25 or so km but about 10 locks and we played barge dodgems a lot. the barge drivers were all very helpfull and even called ahead to the other barges to let them know we had bilge keels and where we were. Back in France
... Besides an old cathedral there was nothing in this town either. By the time we walked up and down the "rambler" and had an early dinner it was finally time to check in. We rocked up to this 1376 Chateau. It was pretty amazing and to think such an old building stood right before us I only hoped it would stay standing for an extra night.
