Got to Lille after having a tour around the local neighbourhood (read got lost finding hotel) and had a lovely lunch by the fireplace. We liked it that much there we decided to have dinner there also.

So the next day we headed on out to Lille centre via the Tram system. Again another fantastic public transport system that ...

Lille was so cute and beautiful. all the buildings and stone paved lanes and christmas markets just made this place feel so warm even though I was freezing..lol
I spent the day walking around and thawing out in little boutiques when ever I got too cold.. waiting for Ben to finish work. I soon realised my coat was insufficient for warmth.lol.. but this was just the beginning as i was to find out.. no snow as of yet though.

My final weekend in the UK and I get to spend it with our two kids and their partners- whoo hoo!!!Sarah and I left Monmouth on Friday morning having said goodbye to Mum and my sister Sue, which is always difficult.
