Wow! Where to start here... We arrived in East Farnham, Quebec on August 15th.. So great to see everyone! East Farnham is the small town where I Iived in my teens. My brother Blair and my sister-in-law Kathy both live there .. Just down the street from where we grew up. They live across the street from my best friend growing up and their family farm. I spent as much time at my friend Maggies house or in the barn in those days as I did in my own ...

It was a four hour ride but the ride back was a bit more interesting with the impending ...

We have had a great couple days in the Niagara area visiting Grandma Brown. Last night night we went up the Skylon tower to have dinner and enjoy the lights over the falls. Rain and fog interfered a bit but a drive around the parkway was beautiful. Today we are on our way to Gore Bay (Manitoulin Island) to visit friends then on to Marathon ...

... and Louise Penny spots. The trip involved numerous small towns with motorcycle groups and bike groups on gorgeous country roads. But all were very respectful and so it was easy driving. We made it to Frelighsburg, which had the art exhibit of the characters and also has three large pines. It was only 3 1/2 miles from the Vermont border. We also made it to St Benoit du Lac Abbey which is the spot where Louise talks about ...
