Claire had Quenelle which is a dumpling of of pike fish and flour with a lobster sauce and and Walter had pigeon ...tiny with only a little meat but yummy sauce and lots of excellent veggies, then cheese, and dessert. ... to do today. The sun was shining, though we did hit a patch where it was foggy, almost seemed like steam coming out of the ground, temp dropped as well. But that only last about 10-20 mins then back into the sunshine. Mixed it up by driving on both main roads and off the track a little. ... strolling back to the central station to casually jump on a night train to Grenoble. Or so we thought. Next train to Grenoble: 06:45! But from my backpacking days I've learned that there is nothing Hostelworld can't solve, so in a few minutes and a call later, me speaking english with the occasional thrown-in 'merci' and the guy on the other end speaking frenglish, we managed to book a room and we were soon off to an awesome night sleep.

Beside the church is a plaza which offers amazing views not only of Lyon but the countryside and mountains beyond. We the walked down the Fourviere hill on the zigzag path and back into Vieux Lyon.
