... the same time. There are place holders for the screens for each square. They used to use wooden blocks, but now they use screens.

After that we got back on the bus and wound up in a HUGE traffic jam on the way to the Basilica of Fourviere, which is on the highest point (of course) in Lyon. The view was nice, supposedly we could see the office of Interpol, and across the river to Mont Blanc, the highest peak of the Alps in France.

... dollar. Nope... all the ancient buildings are lived in, all the churches are open and free to visit, the riverfronts are open to all to enjoy... it's actually a challenge to find a postcard! There is no room to be a tourist in Lyon. One is immediately embraced and pulled along into the Lyonnais good life as if to say "What's a tourist? Living well is normal here." Love ...

... Centuries were projected onto screens everywhere. A lot of them were comical or the portrayal of ordinary life and I was surprised at how real the people seemed.
