... you pay a tourist tax but that also entitles you to free public transport. We caught a trolley bus into the main part of town. On the way the bus got pulled over by the cops, that was a first. I think he got a warning because we were soon on our way. We were up early this morning for breakfast and then started the 3.5 hour drive to our destination - a town called Evian-les-Bains, in south eastern France and it is on the shores of Lake Geneva. It is the home town of Evian mineral water so that **** is everywhere. They are quite proud of it. Also they have these weird wooden statue type things that were built out of collected drift wood ...

... of driving. To say we've seen a lot is an understatement. Maybe we tried to do too much. Maybe we missed out on some things on the way. But we wouldn't do it any other way. Sometimes we wondered why we stopped in a particular place. Sometimes we wished we could stay longer in a particular place. But we always seemed to find hidden gems along the way (Pula in Croatia comes to mind).
