... but essentially that's what they were. We decided to take the bottom one going and the middle one coming back. We set off, got to Nice and everything was going hunky dory until we hit a road closure, suddenly all hell let loose. There were three lanes of traffic all happily cruising along and then the road was blocked for an event and a couple of policemen stood there ignoring the chaos as three lanes of cars were condensed into one lane of cars that didn't know where they were going. ...

... well as my own that came with dinner, but I paid for it the next day! Oh dear, didn't wake up feeling too good.
Going into the Monte Carlo Casino was another amazing experience. We only had half an hour in there before the bus departed and it was a 10 euro admission but it was certainly worth it.
