... while I was torn I decided to pass on it. I asked the waiter "It's kind of unique dish, yes?" and he agreed but said it was "very good and very French - only French" he said in his ok English (much better than my French!). I won't go into the details of andouillette, but will say that it is NOT like andouille sausage - at all.

... back to the main train station, don't need to walk more than I have to at this point, and arrive back at around 4:00.

Get back and, what do you know, it is raining! 3rd straight day it is raining at this time, it's like clock-work. ... and how bad they are. Then we discussed the health system of both countries, gun law, wages, holidays, how bad some landings are, where the hell is the missing Malaysia flight, the fact they have 3 pilots on their plane, so one can have a nap at any time etc. really good chat over a few beers and margaritas,
came home and hit the wine, while Wendy cooked the pasta which was excellent. Went to bed with a bit of a hangover, but what the heck , we are on holidays.

... as the sun baked the galets underfoot. Galets are smoothed river rocks, forced down to the sea by melting mountain ice each spring. In full sun the galets reach scorching temperatures, which is in part a reason we selected a private beach for use of lounge chairs.

... the coast was pretty nice, and it really showed why this is called the Azur Coast. The color of the water here is just incredible. I had been warned before I came here that the beaches in Nice were not the best, and I finally saw that for myself when I arrived. The water is beautiful, but the beach is all rocky.
