We were driven to a start point arriving before 10 am. Walked up to Puig Neulós . Mistake then made ! We ended up travelling in opposite direction following the GR10. We took a walk into the local village, Capmany, this morning, found the cafè/bar and got an ice cream and found the deli and got lunch, a nice walk around the narrow streets before we headed back to the site. After lunch we had a game of pétanque and chilled out in the sun. This evening we will pack up ready for our move tomorrow for the first of our longer stays.

... to be a very popular place for wind surfers and paddle boarding as the coast is almost like a lagoon here and you would think it very sheltered and safe, but it must get windy. ... small rooms where Dali lived and worked. All a bit pressured and not really worth the time invested. But the pool, the gardens & olive terraces with views out over the sea will linger in the memory...it is the savage beauty & remoteness of this area that must have been the anchor that tied SD to this place all his adult life, despite the jet setting.
