      ... like it ( the silence was bliss :)). There were lots of amens throughout the prayer so it was hard to work out when it was finished, even tho it was in english, but at the end everyone crossed themselves and began moving again. It’s the most unexpected religious event ive seen in my travels. You have to imagine it happen in the Coles supermarket nearest you :).

      The temple offers a scenic view of the city of Cebu, as if providing protection from uphill.

      After spending about an hour in the temple, we drive all the way across Cebu over Mactan, to Lapu Lapu. We visit the statue of Lapu Lapu, the chieftain of the locals in Philippines, who fought, defeated and killed the portugese explorer Ferdinand Magellan. The location also houses a memorial for the famous explorer.

      ... I sneak away early the next morning and get a tricycle to the ferry terminal. "**** Score" Boracay's beautiful White Beach is offset by the many tourists that use it and the development that support them. Services are good but living costs are high. I could certainly live here, but would choose not to. **** Score - 6.5 "Cebu City" I get get a ferry across to Caticlan and a tricycle to the nearby airport.
