... became immobilised by shyness. What a fantastic day! Next morning I caught a bus/barge to Negros Island, passing through busy towns decorated for Christmas and bustling with activity. My seating companion, a lovely middle aged woman, introducing me to all the Filippino delicacies from hawkers who got on and off the bus at various points. ... class seats. Our seats were nice and we had a screen built into the seat in front so we got to watch movies. They didn't have many kids movies so I watched a movie about penguins. After the movie was finished I read my book for the rest of the flight and dad either watched movies or slept. ... Our roof was now extremely damaged upstairs and water and debris was easily coming in the second floor, the water flowed down our stairway like a waterfall. We decided if the water level rose higher than our waists or the door handle that we would move all the children on to the stairs, the top of the stairs was still dry and the roof was intact. Then you have to go thru a security screening to enter the terminal building. They also had some cafes and money changers here so I decided to exchange my leftover 1540P leftover notes which came to $35 USD. I also had enough coins left to buy a water bottle once I cleared security.
