If Northern Corsica was about absolution, Southern Corsica was quite the opposite. Catching up with old friends over a week in Porto Vecchio, Southern Corsica was always going to be great fun and it didn't disappoint. A few extra crimes might have even been committed.

... Queen Elizabeth cruise liner birthed at the wharf.with 2200 passengers. Quite a site to see!!!
There were some impressive markets on not far from the wharf. There were some numerous amounts of cheese and olives, tapenades, jams, chutneys ....the works.!!! These French people love their cheeses and olives.
Lunch was scrumptious as usual with leek quiche, grilled cod, and mushroom ...
... and Queens!! And gone out of their way to make every moment pleasurable. Even when we are swimming, Glen is down on the board on watch...just in case us "oldies" get into trouble In the deep water, .....the life ring is always put out!!!!
We had a lovely dinner at a restaurant about 500 m walk from the boat, typical French restaurant....Kevin and I had baked Guinea fowl with gnocchi. Desert was chestnut pudding, very ...
