... Queen Elizabeth cruise liner birthed at the wharf.with 2200 passengers. Quite a site to see!!!
There were some impressive markets on not far from the wharf. There were some numerous amounts of cheese and olives, tapenades, jams, chutneys ....the works.!!! These French people love their cheeses and olives.
Lunch was scrumptious as usual with leek quiche, grilled cod, and mushroom ...
Left the Port of Propriano at 11am and sailed North up the coast of Corsico (still French )
and anchored on the way up to stop for a swim and lunch.

Once the coach trip was over we headed out on foot into the city again. Some of the streets were built on deep slopes which added to the quaint appeal of this place. It was nice to slip off into one of the more shaded side streets to escape the sun and also to explore some of the local merchandise. David and Gary both found Corsican Whisky which they bought.
