    ... I was too lazy/sick to pedal. It turned out to be a wise decision. I could have taken the bus and saved some money, but this was more fun. It's only 50 cc, and tops out at 59 km/h downhill.     Things have been chugging along here in Okinawa on all fronts. I have been making great progress with setting up my experiments (2 sedimentation/accumulation experiments and 1 accretion of secondary calcifying organisms, such as coralline algae, worms, mollusks, and more).     ... the boat to Zamami Island. I grabbed a deep fried tuna stick and a teriyaki chicken sandwich, then strolled around the port area. Everything is dilapidated and/or rusted on either island.
