This section of the Camino is supposed to be the hardest of the 800 kms but we did wonder if they are going to make the distance if they grab a cab so early! And ...

The rest of the waves belonged to surfers ready to try their skills. And far offshore the sailboats floated. Throughout town we saw similar congenial mixes of age, income, taste, style and pastime, but racially there doesn't seem to be much diversity here. We're curious ...

... back to the hostel and decided to make friends with the people in our room to make the stay not so unbearable. They were all very nice, Australian of course and were all attending the Running with the Bulls festival. This meant that they had to get up at 4am to get the bus into Pamplona, returning at 10am, sleeping all day, then going back in for the parties at 9.30pm, so you could say we didn't see them much.

        Night for now
