    What a day ! We drove 90mins to Lac Aiguebelette and had a wonderful day. By chance we were able to wander into the athletes area and cruised around all their tents. Just like a Sunday picnic, except, stationery bikes, kids paddling pools and rowing boats everywhere. We tracked down the Kiwi's and quickly took a photo and moved on. We watched the activity on the athlete's screen, went and saw the boats being weighed and really felt part of the action. ...

    It's not a tough one to work out, we laughed about that then I went off down the other side.

    ... places - a large glass cube is stuck out over the abyss and you can walk into the glass-bottomed cube and I guess feel the effect.... not for us for the extra charge.

    ... to do - climbing to do! But first we had to get to the Cosmiques Refuge, which we had to get to from a snow tunnel, then a super narrow and steep snow ridge. I was a bit worried about this down-climb given how heavy my pack weighed but it ended up being just fine - but still exhilarating! We climbed two routes from the Cosmiques Hut in about 28 hours, the Cosmiques Arête and Pointe Lachenal(Contamine Route). Both were great routes in ...
