      ... Hansen etc.) colorful restaurants and bars. The only downside was that due to ''extreme'' snow conditions we couldn't take the Mont Blanc train nor could we see the Montenvers Mer de Glace.
      To sum up, I must say I wouldn't recommend Chamonix as a must-see but it's a nice town to spend a few days but definitely not the best place for skiing. ...

      ... next 3+ hours on the green slope, skiing and boarding and then chair lifting back up again. We were all getting pretty good. I had a wonderful afternoon. It was warm, peaceful (not at all busy - no waiting at the lift) and everyone happy and having a good time. Girls had time for snow angels in the soft snow and photos.       ... the outdoor bars were magic. The locals with their rugged up designer fashion dogs mostly silky terriers and the traditional horse and cart made this town something you would only ever expect in either a Disney or romantic film.

      brings me delicious hot chocolate which revives me. We continue up the stairs
      to the viewing platform and views are unbelievable and the sight will live with
