... out that it was for the 1817 train and was thus not valid on the 1617. Michael spun a yarn about "Ma femme est malade et il faut que nous revenons a Paris tout de suite" but to no avail. We had to pay an extra 40 euro for the trip and smile as best we could, Michael's heartfelt plea of "Qu'est que la difference?" falling on deaf offical ears.

Well at least we got back to Paris in good time for dinner, and were ...

... While dancing we spotted Autumn, Sonya and Jessica dancing in the middle and then we just all started dancing together. After the club we stopped at the Kebab place nearby for some food and we saw all the Italians there too! ... If I had to describe our waiter I would tell you to picture the stereotypical movie vampire who spoke with a thick Transylvania accent. He was really creepy and would always disappear so quickly after he was just at our table. In the end he was really nice and gave us free champagne (Ellie thinks he heard her complain about how burnt the fan was), but it was good with the strawberries. After dinner we headed back to the hostel to go to bed early since ...

    Day 3: Crepes!

A travel blog entry by joel_salgado on Jan 05, 2014

... myself a pro now. It was a night filled with cigarettes, wine, beer, crepes, and terrible translations. I must say I really enjoyed the Hoegaarden!
The best part hands down were the crepes. The first round of crepes we made were sort of like quesadillas and cooked in a similar fashion. Inside we stuffed them with ham, egg, cream cheese (mixed with pepper and garlic, so delicious), tomato, onions and sour cream. Definitely not the kind of ...
