So here we are in Avoriaz, the Christmas - New Year rush / panic / chaos has passed and we are finding our feet, after 4 weeks of really hard slog. ... s un mois de pratique je peux vous dire que j’avais raison. Par contre, c’est bien plus difficile que le tir à l’arc classique.

Pour marquer la fin de l’été, on a été voir la descente de la transhumance à Annecy. Evidemment, les vaches, moutons et autres étaient le centre d’attention. Mais il y avait pas mal de stand pour promouvoir les produits de terroirs. On a passé une agréable journée et Annecy est vraiment une petite ville ...

... br> We all did the walk of shame, laughing about our pathetic attempt to get into this nightclub, while I was secretly relieved that no one made it in. As much as I'd love to see a man drink another's man urine (keep in mind, I'm using the least graphic example of the things that go on there), beer and whiskey at a dive bar sounded way better to me.

Most of the group, disappointed and rejected, decided to call it a night at 3:30 am and go back to the hostel.
