      ... Hansen etc.) colorful restaurants and bars. The only downside was that due to ''extreme'' snow conditions we couldn't take the Mont Blanc train nor could we see the Montenvers Mer de Glace.
      To sum up, I must say I wouldn't recommend Chamonix as a must-see but it's a nice town to spend a few days but definitely not the best place for skiing. ...

      The early morning is brisk and bright and we stroll through the village admiring the colourful gardens and the cleanliness of it all. We will come back to Charmonix after we pick our son Ashley up from Geneva he is flying in from London where he is working for 2 years.We have not seen him for 8 months and we are looking forward to sharing our last week in France with him.

      ... I jumped in as grandparent/babysitter. We arrived on train to Interlacken West where we met our guides, put on hard to get your feet through thick rubber clothing plus helmets, and received an expert's lesson on white water safety.       ... to cycle through Geneva in order to get to the campground and was again overwhelmed by the cacophony of noise from people, traffic, etc. The day before I had seen maybe 10 people all day and now there were 10 people per 20 meters.
