Maybe I'm just excited to be here and I have a low threshold for what I think are good routes but this area is simply astounding! I thought Aizu Wakamatsu was great but this is just as good if not better.

Anyway, I rode about 11 km from the Inn before the climbing began. It would be about a 10 km climb averaging 6 ...

... in which I had to stop and go to the bathroom to clean up. Besides that, this afternoon was so much fun. The banana crepe with chocolate sauce, cheesecake, ice cream, and cream was also absolutely amazing. Coming back to the lodge for a hot shower felt amazing and a dinner of Japanese hot pot was served. This meal was perfect for a cold winter night. Tomorrow, we're heading to Tokyo after a morning snowboard, which I am very excited ...
