... but fog. Climb up was tough (for Emily) and a breeze for Kaz who left Max and Fumiko in his wake as he ran up the mountain in record speed. Jono says he would have beaten him but was too busy throwing rocks down the mountain. Reached the summit in 2.5 hours which was average speed. The view (when the clouds broke) was very beautiful. ... baseball game. The team only comes to Asahikawa once a year so the line to get in was very long and started the day before. Luckily, Obachans neighbour is an avid fan (to say the least) and secured our seats for us by lining up from 4.30AM to 1.00PM. Seats and atmosphere was great. Lots of diehard fans around us singing all the chants. Learnt some mad tunes from the cheersquad. Game ended up being a cliff hanger with Fighters winning in the final innings.
