Jeruzalem, so named according to legend by some Crusaders who came across the good wines produced here since Celtic times and decided that the Holy Lands weren't that important after all so they settled here. Sounds reasonable to me. On arrival at our farmhouse B&B we were greeted by our host with glasses of local cognac and white and red wines, and being the the polite person that I am and not wishing to offend, I had ...

At the checkout I 'pretended' to be Slovenian by using what few words I knew, guessing what was being said to me in Slovenian and responding accordingly with body language and simple sounds of affirmation or denial. There aren't many outstanding features around the town but as said before the views make up for this, maybe we didn't find everything, its a lovely place and would recommend a visit..

    See the pictures....

Next stop Austria...Maybe a return to Slovenia later...

Well that was a bit of an adventure! I was put on a lorry and taken to the next village. It was all bit odd but the man was very kind and found the problem. I am feeling much better again.
After they had collected me, Willow insisted on taking me up the mountain again. We whizzed up and had a great time, much easier than the day before,
    They had ...
